Our pet therapy journey began by visiting assisted living and nursing home facilities. We realized very quickly that going room-to-room was difficult and too much time on my feet was stressful. So we tried to find visits that could be done in one room - where the residents could come to us.
And then we discovered kids! Everything changed from that point on.
Little kids, kids with books, kids working on Scout projects...it didn't matter. Kids are the best. Kids are now how we focus all of our work!
